In November, I competed at Rutgers University as a defense attorney on the AU Mock Trial Team and we won 3rd place out of 24 teams! As a Defense Attorney I helped develop a legal theory and case from our fictional fact pattern, prepared and delivered direct examination questions of my side’s witnesses, cross examined opposing witnesses, and gave a responsive, extemporaneous closing statement.
