Savannah Kleeman is a sophomore at American University from Cincinnati, Ohio. She is majoring in international studies within the School of International Service with a focus on global inequality and development and sustainability. She is studying Spanish with an intended regional focus on the Western Hemisphere. She is also considering pursuing a minor in religious studies. She participated in the AU Scholars Program in 2018-2019 and is currently involved in the Olson’s Scholars Program. Within this program, she hopes to research the role of religion in conflicts both as a unifying and dividing factor.

At American University she serves on the hospitality committee for AU Catholic. She is also the community outreach chair for AU Nourish International, which is a club focused on understanding sustainable international development.
