My name is Thamara Aridou and I am an undergraduate at the School of International Studies at American University. I hope to focus on Identity, Race, Gender and Culture and Justice Ethics and Human Rights within my major. I have been passionate about research since high school and I am excited to explore this passion through the Olson Scholar Program. I hope to combine my regional interests in the Middle East and North Africa and my interests in human rights to create a research topic this year.
