Literature Review Sketch
A sketch of a literature review for my research regarding the success and failure of trade sanctions. After explaining the topic’s academic exigency, it diagrams four schools of thought in sanctions literature: domestic conditionalists, complementarians, economic realists, and demand conditionalists. It then compares these schools and describes how my proposed research would engage them.
