In this past year at American University, I have grown greatly as a leader. Throughout the academic and over the course of implementing our leadership project, I have learned to be forthcoming with my ideas and opinions in a group setting. Working with my small group, I have learned the importance of communication and developed the necessary ability to facilitate communication. I have also learned how to commit to a project and follow through on it. Our group completed an extraordinary project because we all committed to it and dedicated ourselves to following through even when obstacles arose.
