I know we have a lot of readers (okay … maybe just a couple) in the Columbus, Ohio area. COSI is having a Girls Discover … Engineering Day for girls in middle school (grades 6-8) on October 16th. The participants will get to do some really cool, hands-on engineering activities with mentors from The Ohio State University’s Women in Engineering program and engineers from engineers from several corporations around Columbus.

So, if you read this, and you have a daughter who is the right age, and you live in Columbus, make sure she gets to the Girls Discover day at COSI.

And, if these things don’t apply to you, but you live in Columbus, go to COSI anyway because it’s the awesomest!!
