In the summer of 2019, I interned for the American Hellenic Institute. The American Hellenic Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to absolving tensions in the Eastern Meditteranean. In addition, I also participated in the organization’s annual student foreign policy trip where 10 Greek-Americans, every year are invited to a 3-week journey across Washington DC, Cyprus, and Athens, to participate in various meetings with ambassadors and even the president of Greece. This trip greatly contributed to my passion for international relations, and specifically European studies.
