In the spring of 2020, I studied abroad in France. Despite not knowing any French, I decided to take on the challenge of learning it as a beginner with 15 hours of intensive beginners French. However, my trip was sadly cut short due to COVID 19. But despite my trip being cut short, I formed relationships with my host families, as well as with my classmates in France and also gained a deep appreciation for the language and the culture.
