About Me
My name is Gwenyth Szabo, and I am a student at American University majoring in International Relations. My experience at AU, so far, has consisted of travelling to Thessaloniki, Greece before my first year, volunteering as an ESL teacher at a local non-profit called the Family Place, and studying the United States’ border policies in McAllen & El Paso Texas/Juarez Mexico on an Alternative Break. You can sometimes find me working at Library Course Reserves, and I am currently president of the Taekwondo club. I hope to focus my research on the Refugee Crisis, and as for future career plans, I’m considering Immigration Law and the Peace Corps.
