I’m originally from a suburb of Dallas, Texas and came to D.C. two years ago. I’m currently a graduate student in the MS in Organization Development Program in the School of Public Affairs here at AU. Before coming to D.C., I was living and working in Akita, Japan as an English teacher in the JET Program. My passions include: reading, board games, beer, and exploring new cities.

I went to undergrad at the University of Texas Austin and studied Psychology and International Business. I’m interested in the way people think and why they act the way they do. When I was an undergraduate, I had a mentor who helped me navigate the campus and become better acclimated to life in college. It was really helpful, so I’m excited to do the same for someone else.
