Shawna Bruell is an Undergraduate Academic Advisor in the School of International Service and has been with AU since October of 2016. Prior to her role here at AU she worked in advising and welcoming international exchange students to Washington DC and the United States. She still enjoys doing the same for both international and domestic students who are new to DC! Shawna is originally from the Boston area but has moved a significant amount of times within the US and loves to share travel tips. She has been living in the District for 5 years now and loves all the opportunities for learning and fun the city has to offer.
