Serial season 2 tells the story of Bowe Bergdahl, a soldier who left his post in the middle of the night. Throughout the season, listeners hear testimony from Bergdahl himself, along with other members of his company, former Taliban members, people at CENTCOM, as well as command sergeant majors and colonels.
In creating a website, my goal was to show how even though the majority of testament comes from Bergdahl, bringing on other people helps balance his story, therefore minimizing the chance of bias. Because this season of Serial was released during the trial of Bergdahl, much of the public, including his company, had never heard his side of the story. Once again, however, Serial leaves it up to the audience to form their own opinion of Bowe Bergdahl.
