For this project I chose to listen to Season five of Slow Burn, produced by Slate Plus and hosted by Noreen Malone. This season focuses on the Road to the Iraq War, culminating with the US invasion in 2003. Each episode of this podcast focuses on the unique perspectives of each major figure involved in the decision, as well as the factual inaccuracies spreading around the inner-workings of government based off pre-existing biases. This prompts listeners to question the validity of fact and what makes up a trustable source.

For my Bonus Material project, I created a powerpoint presentation and lecture based upon the history of US foreign policy throughout the 20th Century, focusing in on US-Iraqi relations. Through this project, I hope to provide sufficient context as to why the American Public was willing to go to war despite the widespread factual inaccuracies involved.
