It all started as a Netflix original show called Stranger Things, where it follows four friends, their families, and other people in the town, like teachers and cops. And the crazy stuff that goes on. In the third season we are introduced to this character named Robin Buckley. Robin has always gone to class with some of the characters, but is not focused on until the third season. Rebel Robin: Surviving Hawkins is based on a book that follows a newly come about character Robin Buckley and her backstory. The book goes into more depth of her backstory, but the podcasts follows her and her favorite teacher Mr. Hauser and their interactions mainly in school, when she goes to his room during lunch. At the end of one of the podcast episodes, they read the first chapter of the book to you, just like an audio version or book.
Bonus Material description:
The bonus material I did was an Instagram page with a few posts. The Instagram page is run by Robin Buckley herself and brings to light some of the things her and Mr. Hauser talks about, since she mainly talks to him in private. I created seven posts, an intro post to the page and six more posts one per podcast episode. This contributed to bonus material because Robin acts as a gossip girl to her own stories about what goes on and is talked about with Mr. Hauser.
