The 36th Annual Ann Ferren Conference on Teaching, Research & Learning:

Thursday, January 9 & Friday, January 10, 2025

The 36th Annual Ann Ferren Conference will be held on AU’s main campus on Thursday, January 9th and Friday, January 10th, 2025. This year’s conference theme is Faculty Excellence and Innovation in Times of Change.

The conference features 28 interactive sessions; a plenary lunch on Thursday titled “Boundaries Crossed and Not Crossed: Advancing Literacy Through A District University Partnership” led by Diana Burley (Vice Provost for Research and Innovation); and a plenary lunch and keynote on Friday featuring American University’s 16th President Jonathan Alger. Both lunch plenaries and some conference sessions will have an option to view the session via zoom, but with limited interaction.
