What Workshops Do You Offer?

CTRL offers a variety of workshops each semester to train members of the AU community in the software that it supports. Examples of workshops we have offered in the past can be seen below. If you are interested in receiving training that is not listed in our regular workshop schedule, please contact us to request an appointment.

Introduction to EViews: designed for first time and very-new users, this workshop will cover how to create a workfile, examine data and perform simple statistical analyses, run a simple linear regression and plot results, and perform model specification and hypothesis testing.

Intermediate EViews:  This course is designed to provide the users with basic tools to create a program in EViews. Using EViews syntax, we will recode variables, run descriptive statistics, create univariate and bivariate graphs, and run bivariate and multivariate regression analyses.

Advanced EViews, Time Series: This workshop is designed to provide experience using EViews for time series analysis. Attendees will learn tests and graphic analysis for serial correlations, unit root tests, co-integration tests, and will run vector autoregressive models, vector error correction models, impulse response functions.
