Anipose

Dec 9, 2022

AniPose is a software toolkit for 3D pose estimation developed by Pierre Karashchuk and colleagues in the group of John Tuthill and in collaboration with Bing Brunton. The package uses DeepLabCut for 2D tracking and uses triangulation methods to project pose estimations into three dimensions. Routines for camera calibration and visualization of 3D trajectories are included in the package. The developers provide extensive documentation and tutorials on how to install, set up, and test AniPose in their GitHub repository.

This research tool was created by your colleagues. Please acknowledge the Principal Investigator, cite the article in which the tool was described, and include an RRID in the Materials and Methods of your future publications. RRID: SCR_023041

This publication is notable in the sense that they cite RRIDs throughout the project, as was noted by the SciCrunch project Tweet-bot.
