Session Description:
This session will explore the concept of “habit” as a positive attribute that is developed at the undergraduate level. Special attention is paid to reflective and metacognitive tools and how we can move from concept to implementation in the classroom.
Learning Outcomes:
- Differentiate between positive and negative habits our students bring to the classroom
- Define and deploy “habit” as a positive pedagogical aim
- Cultivate practices within the classroom that can lead to the development of habit formation
