Session Description:
This workshop introduces several newly integrated Canvas tools and features designed to enhance the teaching and learning experience. Participants will explore the Photo Roster tool, which provides instructors with student photos and key enrollment information; NameCoach, which helps instructors learn the correct pronunciation of students’ names; Course Reserve, which simplifies adding library course reserve materials to Canvas; and LibGuide, which enables seamless integration of A–Z library databases and other library resources directly into Canvas courses.
Learning Outcomes:
- Effectively use Photo Roster tool.
- Add NameCoach to the course navigation menu and effectively use it.
- Integrate Course Reserve tool and submit reserve requests.
- Integrate LibGuide within a Canvas course.
