Session Description:
Share, discuss, and create ways to engage this year’s Writer as Witness text—Nothing More of This Land: Community, Power, and the Search for Indigenous Identity by Joseph Lee—in your classes. This session will highlight many of the ideas presented in the book, including indigeneity in the United States, politics, power, real estate, and commerce related to land owned by Indigenous peoples.
Participants will collaborate on developing classroom activities inspired by the text and exchange ideas with faculty from a variety of academic disciplines and teaching contexts.
