Session Description:

Adopting strategies to support our mental health and wellbeing is essential to ensuring that we can stay connected to our passion for teaching. Join us as we examine several strategies that support mental health and wellbeing and explore how we might incorporate them into our busy routines.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Examine how ableism reinforces harmful work habits and inhibits sustainable lifestyles for instructors
  • Identify strategies that help combat burnout while teaching
  • Develop a personal plan to implement sustainable habits that support your unique concept of wellbeing as an instructor
