Session Description:
Ready to turn your global learning ideas into reality? COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) is a form of virtual exchange that connects classrooms across borders, allowing students to collaborate with international peers on shared projects.
Join this hands-on COIL Co-Lab: Designing Your Global Classroom, an interactive follow-up to the COIL introductory session from May. Bring your syllabus, current project drafts, and a laptop to refine your materials with expert guidance and peer collaboration.
The session will begin with a brief refresher on the core components of COIL, followed by a collaborative design studio where participants will work on their own projects alongside colleagues with support from facilitators. The workshop will conclude with a project showcase and discussion of next steps.
